Anton arbetar på Läkare Utan Gränser och pendla mellan ett flyktingläger i Afrika och sitt hem i Danmark där han har två små söner. Han har svikit sin älskade hustru, Marianne, och de försöker nu att vänja sig vid ett liv utan varandra. Samtidigt börjar Antons 10-årige son Elias lära känna och bli vän med en ny pojke i klassen. Denna ovanliga vänskap utvecklas snart till en oroande allians som hotar att förstöra landsbygdsidyllen för alltid. |
